Getting Ready....

Wow!!!! Twenty Days from today we will be on a flight to Beijing China. We are all getting so jazzed about this upcoming trip. We have paid all our travel fees, have tickets and necessary Visas for China. Now we get to start packing.


Below is our itinerary for you to follow. Remember China is 12 hours ahead of us!

Fri. Nov. 20 - Fly from ATL to Newark to Beijing.

Sat. Nov 21 - Arrive Beijing at 3pm. Check into Hotel.

Sun. Nov 22 - Tour olympic venues and Temple of Heaven.

Mon. Nov 23 - Tour of Great Wall, Forbibben City and Summer Palace

Tues. Nov 24 - Visit CCAA and matching room. Fly to Guangzhou late afternoon.

Wed. Nov 25 - Visit Civil Affairs Office and see Brighton and Briley's original file! Fly to Zhanjiang (Brighton's Hometown) early afternoon. Visit Zhanjiang City, Old French Quarter, and Haiwan Bridge.

Thurs. Nov 26 - Visit Brighton's orphanage, meet caregiviers and staff and hold and play with the babies!

Fri.- Nov 27 - Shopping and free time. Lunch at the Ocean Liner Restaurant and after visit the local school and the older children from the orphange attend.

Sat. Nov. 28 - Drive through the countryside and along the ocean to the East Sea Island and walk and play by the seaside. The older orphanage kids will come along on this outing.

Farewell party and dinner at the orphanage. Visit the babies again. Make dumplings with the children and staff. Lots of Photos!!!

Sun. Nov. 29 - Drive to Briley's orphange Huazhou for the day and visit. The orphange is about 3 hours from Brighton's.

Mon. Nov. 30 - Fly to Guangzhou and the White Swan Hotel. Tour Guangzhou and all the places we went to when they were babies!!!

Tues. Dec. 1 - Fly to Beijing, then Newark then Home. Long day as the sun follows us around!
