After 24 hours of airports and airplanes we finally made it. Our flight from Newark to Bejing was delayed for 6 hours because of mechanical problems due to the plane being struck by lightening. They finally put us on another plane that arrived from Tokoya. We arrived in Bejing at 8:30 PM local time which is 13 hours ahead of Atlanta. The new airport built for the olympics is amazing. It's the largest most modern airport we have ever seen. So tonight we try to go to bed to get on their time ASAP. Tomorrow we have several things planned including the Temple of Heaven, Forbidden City, Tiannemen Square, Olymic venues including Birds Nest. And hopefully we will be able to go to a dance and gymnastics place for the girls.
